Hello fellow book lovers!
I recently discovered this site (I used only goodreads before) and so far I love it. I hope to find like-minded people and friends.
I'm Armenian (thought I live in Russian Federaion), cat person (my pet is named after Dorian Grey), coffee addict, book nerd (obviously, duh), introvert, yoga enthusiasts and traveller (on occasions).
I fell in Love with Leslie Knope character from Parks and Recreations and this book is just as good!
One of my all time favorite books.
And I have another The Little Prince duolingual book in French and Russian, still not enough :)

The Book with No Pictures

Немного предыстории...О существовании Алексы Чанг (больше инфы здесь , если Вы также несведущи как и я) знаю примерно месяц и знания ограничены тем, что она была модель и журналисткой, а теперь является редактором британского Vogue. Всё!
Спрашивается - как я, человек, ну очень далекий от моды узнала о существовании и решила прочитать книгу с рейтингом 3.49 с ~3700 оценками? К сожалению (в данном случае) я наткнулась на хвалебную статью, которая ввела и меня в заблуждение, заставив прочитать эту... книгу?
О самом произведении сказать вообще мало что можно, а уж положительного тем более, т.к. это просто описание "профиля" в какой-нибудь соц.сета - я люблю то-то (пару моделей/актрис/музыкантов/ботинки), несколько банальных историй из ее жизни и коллекция фото сомнительного качества и содержания (хотя я такая по сравнению с редактором Vogue, чтобы судить любой modern visual art?).
Оценка - 2/5. Рекомендую, если не хотите напрягаться чтением книг и если Вам, как и мне нравится piggy pink book covers:D.
p.s. нелестный отзыв не означает, что мне не нравится ее tomboy стиль, прическа just out of bed и стрелки.
Wanted
I've been warned by Universe (aka goodreads' users who gave 1 stars ratings to this book) but I didn't listen. But it was free on Amazon Kindle Store so I was like - I'll give it a try, why not?
But after 24% I was like:
At the point of 42% I've got enough of this so I stopped. Life is too short to torture myself with bad books.
